We have been observing and experiencing various industrial transformation practices which have contributed to the emergence of modern economies. For instance, Industrial Revolution transformed many societies from agrarian to industrial economies, and the ongoing digital revolution is changing the way we communicate, work and interact with each other. IMIM, try to understand the role of innovation and entrepreneurship in these industrial transformation practices, in as IT transformations are driven by several factors, including not only technological advancements, but also globalization changes in consumer demand evolving into plural identities and shifts in governmental policies and regulations. Then we can see various factors together lead to the emergence of new industries entrepreneurialism, experimentation, the growth of existing industries, the decline of traditional industries, and the emergence of new business models and organizational structures. For example, the growth of renewable energy technologies and the increasing demand for sustainable products and services provided through sustainable business models are driving industrial transformation in sectors such as energy, transportation and manufacturing. Therefore, we try to transmit up to date state of the art regarding managing industrial transformation. To our students in IMIM because this can be a complex and dynamic process for the future managers, and it requires collaboration between industry stakeholders, policymakers and civil society organizations. But effective, efficient and informed management of industrial transformation can help industries remain competitive, increase resilience, and contribute to sustainable development goals.
